Invitation to a White Table Meeting

6.15pm for 6.30pm prompt
The Masonic Hall, 80 London Road, Leicester.
Dress Code for Gentlemen: Dinner Jacket or Lounge Suit
The dining fee will be £25.00

The evening is an opportunity for non-Masons with their wives, or partners, to meet us and learn about our work in the community, particularly the Charitable and Fraternal nature of the organisation. Masonry as we aware is the largest Charity after the National Lottery and has over 250,000 UK members.

The evening will commence with welcome drinks on arrival for guests, followed by a tour of the Library & Museum whilst the brethren open and close the regular January Lodge meeting. Prior to visiting the magnificent Holmes Temple, a 3-course meal will be served. Thereafter guests will be welcomed into the temple and an explanation given on the layout and artefacts. There will also be a brief talk on the history and current status of freemasonry in the UK.
A raffle and quiz will be operational between courses of the festive board.

Our Lodge members are encouraged to invite non-Masonic friends along with their ladies or partners, who have an interest in learning more about Freemasonry.

Book in guests by contacting:

Secretary Malcolm Riddle - [email protected]

In former times, Brethren dined off the bare boards of the table. Table cloths were only used when Ladies were present.    Hence a white table meeting
